Life Update

I know some of you have been wondering what happened to us. Well we have been busy lately and I have not had time to blog lately.

First we got an apartment in the city. That takes a huge pressure off Murray. So needless to say we have been busy packing. This apartment we can bring Rebel to visit. (If you want to know more you can email us).

Murray is LOVING school, he is doing very well, so far on all of his projects he has gotten 9 or 10 out of 10. So that is very cool.

Last weekend Cathy came over for coffee. I think it has been a year plus since we saw her last. We had a great visit with her. (thanks for the great morning of laughs and great conversation). Lets not wait so long next time K!

For those of you who know me, know that my job is contract.Every 3 years our contract goes out to tender. Well this year it went out to tender and our office was not successful in getting the contract. So that means I will be out of work at the end of June. I truly believe everything happens for a reason and I am hopeful something will come my way. The team that I work with is awesome and I will miss them very much. But you never know what can happen.

So there our life is in a nut shell.

Snow Day

What a beautiful site this morning. I first woke up this morning at 4 am, I looked out the window and we did not have any snow. So I went back to bed until it was time to get up for work. When I got up for work, I raced to the window once again and what a beautiful site. There was snow every where. The news announced that our school district is closed for the day. Yippeeee. If the school district is closed, then our office is also closed. Yipeee..
So I did some baking. I started by making a dozen peanut butter cookies, then 6 dozen oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and 1 dozen cranberry, orange muffins, 1 apple coffee cake, one cranberry orange loaf. What a busy day. It was alot of fun.

Congratulations Murray

Today Murray went to orientation for his 3d animation school. This has been a dream of his for years and it is finally coming true. This morning started off for us at 4:25 ish. He was out of the house by 6 am and on his way.

We are really looking forward to 2007 and all that it has to bring to us.
I really enjoyed listening to his experience today. It was nice to see him with a sparkle in his eyes again. Tomorrow is his official first full day of school. We are not sure what hours he will be there.

Congratulations Murray for all the hard work that you did to get you to this point. I am looking forward to seeing what you will learn and to see the art that you will do. I am so proud of you and I love you very much.
